Rachel Anne Brooks
ATTORNEY
Rachel has represented petitioners in thousands of guardianship and vulnerable adult cases. She also represents guardians and conservators, including professional guardians, trustees, and other fiduciaries. Rachel is the co-founder and former president of the Clark County Bar Association Guardianship and Elder Law Section. She was a board member and secretary of Southwest Washington Elder Abuse Prevention Coalition ("SWEAP") and represented SWEAP on the Elder Justice Center Board. Rachel serves on the board of the Clark County Law Library.

Marisha Childs
ATTORNEY
Marisha Childs is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in both healthcare and legal fields. As a radiographer and mammographer, Marisha honed skills in medical imaging, communication and patient care, and diagnostic precision. After transitioning from healthcare to the legal sector, Marisha began practicing in Clark county working in public defense while gaining invaluable trial experience. Marisha later opened and operated an elder law practice serving clients in and throughout western Washington as well as representing youth in dependency and truancy proceedings. Currently, Marisha serves as a hearings officer for the City of Portland, bringing a wealth of experience in law, healthcare, and public service to the role. Marisha is known for her ability to explain the law in relatable terms with simple analogies.

Laura L. Mancuso
ATTORNEY
Laura is an attorney with over 27 years of legal experience. Her practice emphasizes guardianship, probate, and estate planning. She also represents clients involved in protective proceedings (e.g., protection orders) as the petitioner’s attorney or in defending the respondent. Laura’s litigation experience started as a public defender at the start of her law career and includes numerous years in representing family law clients in various matters.
Laura served on the Clark County Bar Association Board of Trustees. She is licensed in both Oregon and Washington.
